Neighbourly Agriculture

It would seem that you have stumbled into the Neighbours’ garden. In this lovely garden, the Neighbours grow the vibrant purple mushrooms from upon which they derive nutrients. The fungi are grown on mounds filled with fertilizing biomass of various kinds. The Neighbours add new mounds as soon as they get the chance, always making sure to keep the mounds in a neat grid. The mounds are approximately 2 meters x 0.5 meters. With the help of the nourishing biomass, the mushrooms grow quickly, such that the Neighbours rarely, if ever, see a shortage of nutrients. As such, they make sure to plant young mushrooms as soon as the old ones are harvested.
